June was born Aug. 26, 1940, in Muenster to Elvin Robert and Ruby Mae (McDonald) Steadham. She married Harold Ray Robinson Aug. 13, 1969, in Decatur.

She was a wonderful wife, daughter, aunt, sister, friend, teacher and coach – wearing a lot of hats well. Though she never had children of her own, she helped raise a bunch of them in the classroom and on the basketball court.

June loved her families (biological, spiritual and educational), and they will all miss her.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her twin sister, Jane Perkins.

She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Harold Ray Robinson of Decatur; numerous nieces and nephews who held a special place in her heart; and many friends and students she had the pleasure of coaching and teaching through the years.
