BREAKING NEWS: Five injured in U.S. 287 wreck

Five people were injured Sunday night after a two-car wreck on U.S. 287.

At around 6:15 p.m., two cars were traveling south on U.S. 287 near Kathy’s Shell gas station in Decatur when the driver of the car in the right lane tried to merge into the left lane, causing the other car to flip and roll over the median into the northbound lane.

Three children and two adults, one man and one woman, were injured. Names of those involved are not available at this time.
