Entries opened this week for the 2014 Wise County Youth Fair, which is March 1-8.
4-H, FFA and FCCLA members have until 5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 1, to enter online at wise.fairmanager.com. There will be an entry clinic 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Feb. 1, at the Decatur Ag Science Building.
Entry fees can be paid online with a credit or debit card or they can be mailed to Wise County Youth Fair, P.O. Box 1062, Decatur, TX 76234. Checks, money orders or cashier’s checks will be accepted. Do not send cash.
All payments by mail must be received by the entry deadline (Feb. 1) and should include a printed entry receipt. If the payment is not received by the entry deadline, it will be subject to additional fees.
Late entry deadline is 5 p.m. Friday, Feb. 7, and fees are three times the original entry fee with a minimum of $10. There will be no exceptions.
Online payment will not be available for late entries. Fees and the online entry receipt should be presented to Youth Fair President Evan Culpepper or secretary Liz Hubbard by the 5 p.m. deadline Feb. 7.
