TURF TALK – The Bridgeport school district is considering artificial turf for Bull Stadium. The school board Monday looked at an artificial turf sample and heard a presentation from athletic director Danny Henson. Cost of the turf would range from $750,000 to $800,000. If the board approves the installation, the money would come from the general fund balance where money has been earmarked as part of a five-year plan. The board asked Henson to bring back a recommendation and someone who can talk to the board about installation of turf at the next meeting, March 18.
