MAN ARRESTED FOR SOLICITATION OF MINOR – A Paradise man was arrested Friday and charged with online solicitation of a minor. Christopher Ashmore, 20, was taken into custody just before noon Friday following a sting operation by the Wise County Sheriff’s Office. The investigation began several days ago when investigator Josh Reynolds learned Ashmore was attempting to solicit sex acts from a juvenile female via e-mail and text messages, according to the Wise County Sheriff’s Office. Ashmore arranged a meeting with who he believed was the juvenile female, but he had actually been communicating with Reynolds. Investigators believe there may be other possible victims. Anyone with information regarding other possible victims should call Sergeant Reynolds at (940) 627-5971 ext. 263 or via email at reynoldsj@sheriff.co.wise.tx.us.
