The driver of a pick-up was killed in a one-vehicle rollover near Lake Bridgeport Saturday afternoon.
According to investigators, it appears the driver caught the edge of the pavement and overcorrected, losing control of the Dodge truck. The truck rolled sideways before splintering a telephone pole and coming to a rest in a thicket of brush.
Speed was believed to be a factor.
The driver was the only occupant of the truck, and no other vehicles were involved in the wreck, which occurred around 5:30 p.m.
More information will be posted as it becomes available.
