The Northwest Texans (10-8, 1-1) dropped two games at the Whataburger Tournament over the weekend. In their second round game, the Texans fell to Plano West 42-39.

Josh Tatum led the way with 10 and Todd Christensen had seven. Elijah Christman, Casey Jimison and David Ogunwola all added six.

Northwest lost to Spring Westfield in the opening round 83-37.

Ogunwola led the way with 15 and Josh Tatum tossed in seven. Christman and Jimison each had four.

The Texans will continue district play Tuesday when they travel to Richland.
