Talamantes, Huggins take 4th at Slidell Meet

The Slidell Greyhounds captured three of the top 10 spots during the Slidell Cross Country Meet Wednesday.

Khristian Talamantes led the way with a fourth-place finish in 19:32. Dustin Davis was third in 20:23 and Shelby Vanover rounded out the top 10 with a time of 20:23.

Kyler Carnes took 13th in 21:26. Colton Crane ran 22:13 good for 18th and Heyden Crane finished 22nd in 23:09.

Francisco Martinez finished 33rd with a time of 26:05. Walker Gladden placed 35th in 26:30. Erick Guiterrez ran 37th with a 26:44 clocking and Jose Zuniga captured 41st in 41:43.

Kayson Huggins led the Lady Hounds with a fourth-place finish in 13:30. Kayleigh Miller ran 14:29, good for 12th.

Caitlin Pruett placed 14th in 14:49, and Kylie Franklin finished 16th in 15:09.

Kayler Talamantes took 20th in 16-flat and Fien Koelman placed 37th with a time of 20:34.

Jessy Goode ran 40th with a time of 24:52.
