Slidell takes second

The Slidell Greyhounds (3-1) fell in the championship game of the Campbell Tournament over the weekend.

Slidell fell to CHESS, 60-45. Tyler Maynard led the way with 15, and Isaac Davis had 12.

Khristian Talamantes poured in 10.

Slidell defeated Campbell in the semifinals, 64-48.

Davis had a double-double with 25 points, and 13 rebounds. Colton Perkins finished with 15, and Maynard had 11.

In the opening round game, Maynard hit a lay-up with one second left to seal the win over Sam Rayburn, 65-64.

Perkins finished with 18, and Maynard had 16. Davis also scored 16, and Talamantes added 11.
