The Slidell Greyhounds rolled to an easy homecoming victory Friday. Five Slidell players (20-3, 3-1) reached double figures in their 96-18 win over Prairie Valley.
Slidell led 27-3 after the first quarter and extended their lead to 50-8 by halftime.
“We got off to a good start shooting the ball tonight,” Slidell coach Todd McCormick. “Our defense was very consistent throughout which allowed us to get out in transition and get some easy baskets.”
Colton Perkins led the way with 18 and Tyler Maynard finished with 17. Trent Garrett added 13. Gracjan Pietryka and Scott Bingham both had 12. Issac Davis tossed in nine.
The Greyhounds will travel to Forestburg Friday.
