The Slidell Lady Hounds (12-16, 5-4) got 16 points from Ashton Stroope and 15 from Caitlin Pruett as they took down Saint Jo Thursday, 48-45.

We had a pretty good plan and did a good job of executing except for the third quarter, and they nearly got away from us then,” Slidell coach Cody Vanover said. “I felt this was a good team effort. Jessy [Goode] may have only had two baskets, but they were both big time shots when we needed them.”
