Sissies suffer home loss

The Bridgeport Sissies (5-2) lost their first home game of the season Saturday, 11-3 to the Paradise Lady Panthers.

Paradise scored two runs in the bottom of the first, and led 5-1 at the end of the fifth.

Haley Guinn took the loss after giving up two runs on three hits.

Senior Laney Campbell continued to swing a hot bat going 3 for 3 with two RBI’s. Kensley Turner, Haley Guinn and Shiloh Weirich all had one hit.

The Sissies defeated Millsap Friday, 5-2. Freshman Kensley Turner got the start and made the most of it picking up her first win, giving up two runs in four innings of work.

Campbell went 3 for 3 with an RBI. Ryhan Read had an RBI triple and Vikki Rivera had an RBI double. Kensley Turner also had an RBI triple.

Bridgeport scored nine runs in the first inning en route to a 10-2 win over Jacksboro.

An RBI single from Campbell, Turner, Guinn along with a two run single by Jenay Estrada fueled a lot of the Sissie offense.

Taylor Emola notched her third win of the season allowing only two runs over five innings of work.
