Sissies split doubleheader

Bridgeport (3-1) split a pair against Millsap Tuesday on the road. The Sissies led 3-0 until the bottom of the fourth in game one but gave up eight runs in that inning.

Laney Campbell, Kensley Turner and Hayley Davidson all had two hits. Taylor Emola took the loss.

In game two, Bridgeport’s offense came alive as they rolled to a 12-2 win. They scored 12 runs on eight hits.

Davidson got the start and gave up two runs, on four hits, with two walks and struck out four for the win.

Campbell and Davidson each had two hits.

The Sissies will travel to Bowie Tuesday.
