Sanger sweeps Bridgeport

The Sanger Lady Indians got past the Bridgeport Sissies (7-31, 0-6) Tuesday.

Sanger swept the match 16-25, 18-25, 14-25.

“We didn’t pass well, and our defense was sloppy tonight,” Bridgeport coach Rebekah Cummings said. “Our hitters did a better job of taking care of the ball at the net.”

Kayla Henson put down six kills and had five digs. Tylar Chapa finished with nine digs and three kills.

Leah Guinn recorded 10 digs. Elaina Peyton had 13 digs, 14 assists and four kills.

The Sissies end the regular season Tuesday at Krum.
