Sanger rolls past Sissies

Bridgeport (7-27, 0-2) dropped their second straight district contest Tuesday to the Sanger Lady Indians.

Sanger swept the match 14-25, 14-25, 12-25.

“We rallied at the beginning of the match but never found a rhythm,” Bridgeport coach Rebekah Cummings said. “We continue to work on making smarter plays.”

Leah Guinn finished with nine digs and five kills. Jessica White had five kills and two blocks.

Kayla Henson secured 10 digs. Elaina Peyton added 12 assists, nine digs, three aces and two kills.

The Sissies have a bye Tuesday before returning to district play Friday against Krum.
