Paradise takes down Boyd

By Clay Corbett | Published Wednesday, October 9, 2013

The Paradise Lady Panthers defeated the Boyd Lady Jackets in a key district match-up Friday.

Paradise took down Boyd in four, 25-17, 21-25, 25-20, 26-24.

“Sacrifice and team are two words this group of girls understand,” Boyd coach Dusty Crafton said. “They might play a five-game match on Tuesday, but like clockwork they turn around on Wednesday and run an interval mile and they have learned to show no weakness, even if they are exhausted from the night before. Against Paradise our kids left it all on the floor.”

Brooklyn Scarborough led the Lady Jackets with nine kills. Britney Howard recorded 11 digs, and Maddie Busch had four blocks. Baylie Harris dished out 25 assists.
