The Paradise Panthers clinched a spot in the postseason for the fifth consecutive year with a 15-8 victory over Ponder Tuesday.
Paradise put up eight runs in the bottom of the first inning and never looked back. They added another run in the second, four in the fourth, and two more in the sixth.
Austin Hogan led the offense with four hits and three RBI’s. Jarret Holt finished with two hits and an RBI. JD Pearson and Tanner Valentine each had two RBI’s.
Caiden Berry got the win, going four innings, giving up six hits and striking out three. Dillon Meadows picked up the save in relief.
Paradise was set to play Millsap Friday. With a win or a Ponder loss to Brock they can claim second place in District 9-2A.
