Panthers nip Millsap

The Paradise Lady Panthers (8-13) needed 30 hits to get past Millsap Monday. Paradise scored four runs in the bottom of the eighth to overtake the Lady Bulldogs, 19-18.

The game was tied 15-15 after seven innings. Millsap put up three in their half of the eighth, but Paradise rallied with four in the bottom of the inning.

Taylor Rector and Jett Preather each had five hits. Allison Rutledge finished with five RBI’s.

Tiffany Stinnett got the win, going all eight innings and striking out seven.

The Lady Panthers will travel to Brock Tuesday.
