The Paradise Panthers (8-5) won four straight at the Windthorst Tournament last weekend. They were set to play in the championship game against Gunter Saturday, but the game was rained out.
In their opening round game, the Panthers knocked off Millsap, 9-6.
The Panthers rallied with five runs in the bottom of the fifth to take the win. Corbin Holt got the win in relief.
Jarrett Holt led the offense with four hits. Tanner Valentine, Dillon Meadows, Skylar Black and J.D. Pearson all had two hits.
In the second round, the Panthers came back again with five runs in the bottom of the fifth to stun Vernon 7-6.
Meadows and Austin Hogan each finished with two hits. Holt had two RBI’s.
Paradise used two runs in the bottom of the fourth to break a 5-5 tie and win 7-5 over Holliday. Holt got the win and Meadows picked up the save.
Meadows also had two hits to lead the offense.
In their final game, the Panthers destroyed Archer City, 14-4. The Panthers exploded with 11 runs in the first inning to cruise to the victory.
Paradise was set to play Alvord Tuesday and will host Brock March 19.
