Lady Eagles stay perfect

Decatur won their 11th straight game to start the season Friday.

The Lady Eagles (11-0) used a dominating fourth quarter to grab a 59-43 win over Aubrey.

Decatur outscored Aubrey 22-10 in the final frame to put the game away.

“We did a pretty good job considering the time and games we lost due to the ice storm,” Decatur coach Billy Garner said.

Shelby Drews led the way with 17.

Murphy Graham and Traci Hale each scored 12. Katie Isham added eight.

Haley Dennard tossed in four.

Decatur hosts Bowie Friday.
