Lady Eagles fall to Krum

Decatur got off to a hot start Tuesday, but could not keep pace with the No. 7 Krum Lady Cats losing 50-35.

The Lady Eagles (13-10, 0-2) led 14-5 after the first quarter, but got outscored 32-8 in the next two periods.

“It was a tough loss, but our team had a great effort,” Decatur coach Billy Garner said. “We are very proud of the job we did tonight.”

Murphy Graham led Decatur with 10. Katie Isham had eight and Jasmyne Tate added seven. Shelby Drews tossed in six and Traci Hale had four.
