Lady Eagles edge Boswell

The Decatur Lady Eagles stayed undefeated on the season with a 54-50 win over Boswell Monday.

Decatur (9-0) led by one at the half and was able to hold on down the stretch.

“It was a tough, physical game, and our kids did a great job of battling all night long,” Decatur coach Billy Garner said.

Murphy Graham and Shelby Drews combined for 35 points and 12 rebounds to lead the way for Decatur.

Graham finished with 18, and Drews had 17.

Traci Hale added 11, and Haley Dennard poured in six. Macen Stripling scored two.

The Lady Eagles will head to the Alvord Tournament this weekend.
