The Decatur Lady Eagles soccer team is off to a rough start to the season after a 6-0 loss to Western Hills Friday. It was the final tune-up before the Lady Eagles (1-5-1) begin district play Friday at Wichita Falls Hirschi.
Last weekend Decatur competed in the Boswell X-Town Shootout Tournament and came away with one victory.
The Lady Eagles dropped their opening round game to Boswell 7-1. Anna Sherwood connected on the lone goal for Decatur. They defeated Diamond Hill in the second round 2-0. Georgina Palomo and Claudia Inquanzo came away with the two scores.
In the final game Denton Ryan shut-out Decatur 9-0.
