Jacksboro rallies past Bridgeport

The Bridgeport Sissies (7-23) lost in five games to the Jacksboro Lady Tigers Tuesday.

Jacksboro came back to take the match 25-21, 16-25, 30-28, 6-25, 6-15.

“This was a hard-fought loss that needed to happen,” Bridgeport coach Rebekah Cummings said. “The girls played with a lot of emotion and hopefully will use this to fire them up for the rest of the season.”

Leah Guinn finished with 16 digs and an ace. Jessica White added 11 kills and three aces, and Tylar Chapa recorded 11 digs and four kills.

Taylor Emola added 14 digs and four kills. Elaina Peyton handed out 17 assists.

The Sissies travel to Nocona Tuesday for their final tuneup before district play.
