Greyhounds race past Saint Jo

The Slidell Greyhounds (15-5, 1-0) started district play on a good note Tuesday.

Slidell blasted the Panthers, 77-34.

The Greyhounds led 32-17 at the half and then outscored Saint Jo 25-0 in the third quarter.

“It was a great way to start out district,” Slidell coach Todd McCormick said.

Tyler Maynard led the way with 20, and Isaac Davis put up 19.

Colton Perkins added 15. Heyden Crane scored seven, and Khristian Talamantes tossed in six.
