The Gainesville Lady Leopards clinched the second spot in District 9-3A with their 60-41 win over the Bridgeport Sissies Tuesday.

In their final game of the season Bridgeport (14-18, 0-8) could not survive a bad third quarter, where they got outscored 20-10.

Gainesville took a 44-24 lead into the final frame. The Sissies cut the lead to 50-36 on a Bailey Thompson jumper midway through the quarter. She had nine points in the period.

Ariannah Kemp would later put the game away on a 3-point play, giving the Lady Leopards a 55-36 advantage.
