Eagles fall to Springtown

The Springtown Porcupines rallied to take down the Decatur Eagles Friday, 9-5. Decatur (5-12) took a 5-1 lead to the fourth inning, but Springtown came up with six in the frame to take the lead.

The Porcupines scored two more in the sixth.

Christian Carrillo led the offense with two hits. Reid Metcalf and Austin Givens each had a hit and an RBI.

Johnny Murillo took the loss on the mound.

The Eagles will host Krum Friday.
