Dragons fall to Petrolia

Petrolia slipped past Chico (16-8, 10-2) Monday, 8-7. Chico put up a late rally with a run in the fifth and six runs in the sixth to tie the game 7-7. But Petrolia plated a run of their own in the bottom of the sixth to put the game away.

Hunter York took the loss, going six innings, giving up three runs on eight hits and striking out nine.

Hunter Clarke led the offense with two hits and two RBI’s. Jericoe McGuire and York had two RBI’s each.

On Saturday the Dragons dismantled Millsap 17-3. Chico led 14-2 after the second inning and never looked back.

Dustin Hardee got the win, going four innings, giving up five hits and striking out four.

Jaston McBee had four hits and two RBI’s. Chase Long and Dustin Hardee each had three hits. Austin Collins finished with two hits.

Friday, Chico shut out Bryson 14-0. Dalton Tullos led the offense with two hits including a double. Chase Riddles, McGuire and Long each had two RBI’s.

Tullos got the win, going all five innings, allowing no runs on two hits and striking out 12.
