The Chico Dragons (3-2-1) ended the Santo Tournament with a 7-7 tie against Paschal after rallying for four runs in the fifth to take a brief lead. Paschal rallied with two in the bottom of the inning for the tie.
Dalton Tullous had a couple of hits to lead the Dragon offense.
On Friday, Chico defeated Cross Plains 11-3. Tullous went all four innings, picking up the win, and he also had two hits. Austin Collins went 3 for 3, including two doubles, with two RBI’s, and Dustin Hardee finished with two hits.
Chico also defeated Mineral Wells, 8-1. Hunter York got the win going all six innings. Jaston McBee connected on three hits and drove in a run. Chase Long had a couple of hits. Tyler Melton had a single and two RBI’s.
