Bridgeport (0-1) lost a heartbreaking game down the stretch Tuesday against a solid Class 4A Saginaw team.

Saginaw outscored the Bulls 10-3 in overtime to capture a 64-57 victory.

Dalton Hudson had a tremendous night, leading the Bulls with 30 points.

“Dalton worked very hard in the offseason and did a great job shooting the ball,” Bridgeport coach Alan Green said. “There are no moral victories, but there are so many positives to take from this game.

“It is up to us now to learn from and correct our mistakes so that next time we make the right plays down the stretch to secure a victory.”

Stephen Howdeshell finished with 11 and Alex Samples had nine. Derrick Stanford and Jacob De Angel each added three.
