Brock skunks Dragons

The Brock Eagles didn’t let up as they delivered the Chico Dragons’ first defeat of the season Friday with a 54-0 victory.

Brock took the lead early in the first with a 42-yard touchdown by Slaten Gough. Gough ran in a second touchdown in the first to increase the lead to 12-0.

Chico would only have six first downs in four quarters with a combined 75 yards. The Dragons stumbled with penalties losing a combined 105 yards.

Brock ran the score to 33-0 in the first half. In the third, Brock took full advantage of several Chico mistakes. The Eagles capitalized on a fumble recovery in the endzone and a blocked punt in the endzone to secure 14 points in the third.

Brock capped the night off with a 16-yard touchdown by Tyler Gray in the fourth.
