The Bridgeport Sissies (6-3) squeaked past Perrin Tuesday for a 7-6 victory. Freshman Kensley Turner got her first walk off hit as she drove the ball deep to left field to bring in Hayley Davidson for the win.

Kendall Vawter had the big bat on the night going 4 for 4 with an RBI and a double. Davidson finished with three hits and Turner picked up a couple of knocks.

Haley Guinn, Ryhan Read and Shiloh Weirich all had one hit each.

Taylor Emola earned her fourth win, giving up two runs on four hits and striking out five.

The Sissies will be hosting the second annual Bridgeport A+ Awards Invitational this weekend.
