The Sissies gave up three early runs and could never recover against Bowie, falling 6-3 Tuesday.

Freshman Kensley Turner took the loss for Bridgeport (5-3), giving up six runs, five earned on four hits. She walked two. Kendall Vawter had two hits including a double. Laney Campbell also added a double. Shiloh Weirich and Vikki Rivera each had singles.

The Sissies will be back in action Tuesday when they host Perrin.
