Bobcats dog Panthers

By Messenger Staff | Published Saturday, September 21, 2013

The Paradise Panthers’ hard luck streak continues after a 27-7 loss to the Krum Bobcats Friday night.

Krum’s offense dominated the night with 230 rushing yards, nearly doubling Paradise’s efforts. The Panthers did throw for 128 yards compared to Krum’s 62, but it wasn’t enough to keep them in the game.

The Panthers saw a glimmer of hope in the second quarter when Taylor Edwards ran in a 7-yard touchdown and tied the game 7-7. The Bobcats and Panthers were only neck-and-neck for a short time. Krum took the lead back with a 43-yard pass.

The Panthers didn’t get another opportunity to even score as Krum secured touchdowns in both the third and fourth.
