Baseball: Alvord 10, Paradise 0

The Alvord Bulldogs (9-9, 3-5) blanked the Paradise Panthers (12-8, 4-3) Friday, 10-0.

Casen Baker had a superb performance for the Bulldogs, going all seven innings, allowing two hits and striking out 12.

Alvord led 5-0 after six innings and then scored five more in the seventh to put the game out of reach.

Jordan Locklear had a three-run double to lead the Alvord offense. Justin Heap and Lance Peace each had a hit and two RBI’s. Kane Rice added a double.

Skylar Black and Dillon Meadows had the lone hits for Paradise. Caiden Berry took the loss.
