In the Constitution of the United States, the Bill of Rights, Amendment IV states, “The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures shall not be violated, and no warrants shall issue but upon probable cause supported by oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched and the persons or things to be seized.”
By voting to retain the current radical NSA surveillance program which targets U.S. citizens without probable cause – the same one used to monitor the foreign battlefield of our enemies – Kay Granger and Mac Thornberry have voted to end the U.S. Constitution, specifically, to cancel our right to privacy. They have violated their oath of office to uphold the U.S. Constitution!
Ben Franklin said, “They who can give up essential liberty to obtain a little temporary safety deserve neither liberty nor safety.”
I am ashamed of my representatives!
