Questions for all those who hold office

By Rusty White | Published Wednesday, March 6, 2013

I’ve got a few questions for political parasites past and present – and those who support gutting what we paid for in advance can start packing their bags!

My Social Security payments, and those of millions of other Americans, were safely tucked away in an interest-bearing account for decades until the politicians decided to start robbing the account to pay for the Vietnam War and other BS starting with President Johnson. True or False?

The politicians moved full retirement from age 65 to age 67 and now want to make the age even higher so our elderly can work themselves into the grave. True or False?

Millions of Americans have been paying into retirement and Medicare ever since it started, and now the politicians want to change the rules. But it was not the greed of those on Medicare, or those reaching the promised retirement age, that created this problem. We paid for this service in advance, and they have robbed us blind. True or false?

Millions of Americans have been paying income taxes our entire lives, yet the politicians don’t want those making millions to pay their fair share. True or False?

If there is one ounce of honesty left in any of our political leaders, they need to ask themselves the following questions:

How much do I pay for my lifetime government-provided health insurance and other benefits?

What cuts in retirement and health care benefits are in my deficit reduction proposal for me and my fellow public servants? What am I giving up?

Everyone who supports this travesty is a disgrace to the office they hold! It is this band of thieves that has bankrupted America and stolen the money paid in advance for our American dream – for their self-serving political parties and agendas.

We deserve the abuse we elect and accept!

So sad but so true! These parasites are funding the enforcement agencies of the government, while raping those who supposedly don’t deserve the so called “entitlements’ we paid for, GO FIGURE???

We keep hearing of what “we the people” will have to give up, yet “NONE” of these parasites are giving up anything, I CALL BSSSSSSS!

  3. Any time you get the government to oversee anything, it is doomed to failure. Name one instance where that isn’t so. When you create a “retirement system” run by the government, you take away the motivation of the people to put back for retirement themselves. Then when they need it, it isn’t there. Many religions opt out of SS, and take care of their own elderly, widows, and orphans. The government can’t run a snow cone stand.

  4. Ricky Stutt says:

The problems I think is we have many that complain, spend a lot time researching to critic but not enough time serve. And those that do are not strong enough to stay true to there convictions. There are a large number that do a great job and are strong but we do not praise them enough.

  5. Andrew Wynn says:

Craig is right. Through the perversion of the Tenth Amendment, the Bill of Rights and Constitution have been rendered virtually non-existent and we have a self-serving federal government picking our pockets without constraint. Enough!
