We have been notified recently of security breaches to customers’ debit cards at the Decatur Taco Casa sometime during the week of Aug. 25-31. Some of our customers’ cards were potentially compromised.

For the security of our customers, we have taken comprehensive measures to contain the incident. We are also cooperating with Decatur and Wise County law enforcement and local banks to determine the source of this breach of our system.

We understand and acknowledge that some of our debit card customers may have been inconvenienced by this unfortunate incident. Please accept our sincere apology if this has happened to you. Our obligation to our customers was to stop any potential fraudulent activity as soon as we learned of it.

We recommend that all of our affected customers closely monitor their account activity for the next few weeks and immediately report any fraudulent debit card activity.

Our customers can continue using debit and credit cards at our store. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and thank our customers for their patience while their concerns are being investigated.
