Woman’s Club presents checks to charities

On Feb. 12, the Decatur Woman’s Club, which is part of the General Federation of Women’s Clubs – Texas, presented proceeds from December’s Tour of Homes to three charities. Each group received $4,000, and those that received checks last week included Raquel’s Wings for Life, Wise Area Relief Mission and Wise Hope. In 2012, the Decatur Woman’s Club raised $90,000 in cash and donated items, which was given to various organizations.
