Texas Department of Transportation will reduce a Denton County section of U.S. 380 to one lane beginning 7 a.m. Tuesday, June 18, to install storm sewer underneath the highway.
The closure, which is expected to last most of the day, will be between Cottonwood Trail and Masch Branch Road. During the closure, vehicles will be led through that section of the highway by a pilot vehicle and flaggers – one direction at a time.
This is part of a $39.3 million widening project that will add two additional lanes in each direction from just west of Farm Road 156 to Interstate 35.
The project started in April and is expected to be complete by summer of 2017.
