The buds were being sent through the U.S. mail as well as being transported by the suspects in private vehicles. Upon delivery, the marijuana was repackaged and distributed.
Zachary Palmer, 24, of Trophy Club, Collin Jackson, 23, of Corpus Christi, and Robert Durham, 20, of Southlake, were taken into custody and charged with engaging in organized criminal activity. Approximately eight-and-a-half pounds of marijuana was seized at the residence with a street value of approximately $47,500.
The suspects were being held in Wise County Jail on $25,000 bond set by Justice of the Peace Mandy Hays. As of Tuesday afternoon, Palmer and Durham had posted bail and been released.
