Wise County commissioners Monday will consider cooperative agreements between the Sheriff’s Office and several local school districts to provide school resource officers.

The county leaders will meet at 9 a.m. in the third-floor conference room of the courthouse in Decatur. Sheriff David Walker and school superintendents will be present to answer questions and explain the program.

The Alvord, Chico, Paradise and Slidell school districts plan to participate.

Commissioners will also appoint a board member to the Upper Trinity Groundwater Conservation District.
