Mobile health screenings set in January

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Fort Worth’s Wellness for Life mobile health unit will be in Wise County several times over the next few weeks, offering screening mammograms, well-woman exams and colon cancer screening kits for the community.

Patients’ insurance will be billed directly. Those without insurance may qualify for fully-funded screenings. Screening dates in this area include:

  • Jan. 11 – Super Walmart, 800 S. Highway, Decatur
  • Jan. 31 – Brookshire’s Food Store, 501 E. Highway 199, Springtown
  • Feb. 12 – Boyd Family Practice, 308 W. Rock Island Avenue, Boyd
  • Feb. 14 – City of Bridgeport, 1009 Halsell Street, Bridgeport

Those interested can register by calling 1-855-318-7696 Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
