Grand jury indicts two dozen

A Wise County grand jury met May 29 and returned felony indictments against 24 individuals.

Indicted were:

Whitney Kaye Reed, assault family/household member impede breathing/circulation

John Christopher Thomas, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon; injury to child with intent to cause bodily injury

Daniel Ray Anderson, possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, less than 1 gram; unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon

George David Shannon, possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, less than 1 gram

Felisha Ann Roe, firearm smuggling three or more firearms

Robbin Allen Martinez, firearm smuggling three or more firearms

James Austin Bannister, firearm smuggling three or more firearms

Jeremy Martin Heuer, possession of a controlled substance – tetrahydrocannibinol, less than 1 gram

Warren Lee Keafott, possession of marijuana 5-50 pounds

Rhonda Leanne Marshall, prohibited substance in a correctional facility

Clifton Joel Phelps, possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, less than one gram

Michael Don Rager II, tamper/fabricate physical evidence

John Walter Allen, assault family member impede breathing/circulation

Julio Bias Fraga, indecency with a child/sexual contact

Ceasar Gallagos, assault family/househould member impede breathing/circulation

Harvey Henderson Boggs, driving while intoxicated third or more

Willie Kirk McCann, driving while intoxicated third or more

Jason Eric Peek, two counts of burglary of a building

James Allen Russell, two counts of theft of property $1,500-$20,000

Timothy Wayne Russell Jr., evading arrest/detention with previous conviction

Andrew Mervin Smart, burglary of a building

Joseph Earl South, 10 separate charges including credit card or debit card abuse, burglary of a habitation, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, and seven charges of theft of a firearm

Lloyd Dewayne Tillery, driving while intoxicated third or more

Teddy Ray Beauchamp, possession of marijuana 4 ounces-5 pounds
