Grand jury indicts 31 on Dec. 18

A Wise County grand jury met Dec. 18 and returned 42 felony indictments against 31 suspects.

Among those indicted was Precinct 4 Wise County Commissioner Terry Ray Ross, on a charge of theft of property valued between $500 and $1,500. The charge was enhanced to the felony level because Ross is a public servant.

He is currently suspended without pay and is scheduled to face trial on a previous felony theft indictment in February.

Vincent Edward Montez Sr. faces two assault charges, both on family members, one involving choking or impeding breathing or circulation and both enhanced by the fact that he has a previous conviction.

Zane Ray Stuard was indicted on two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of aggravated assault causing serious bodily injury.

John Thomas Schaffer faces three felony indictments, all for possession of a controlled substance. Two of the charges are for possession of less than 1 gram of methamphetamine, while the other is for possession of between 4 and 200 grams.

Tommy James Maddux was indicted on two felony charges: possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) less than 1 gram and tampering with or fabricating physical evidence.

Jacob Alan Bridges faces three indictments: two for burglary of a building and one for theft of property valued between $1,500 and $20,000.

Frankie Lee Howard was indicted on two counts of burglary of a building, a second-degree felony.

Keith Edward Duffey was indicted on one count of fraudulent use of identifying information, less than five items (elderly) and two counts of fraudulent use of identifying information, less than five items.

Blaine Allen Finn, possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, less than 1 gram;

Kelly Rae Moore, possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, less than 1 gram;

Jessie Jerome Evan, prohibited substance in a correctional facility – AM-2201 and AM-2201 4-methylnaphthyl;

Linda Kay Frye, possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, 1-4 grams;

Jacqueline Lois Stephens, possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, less than 1 gram;

Bryan Craig King, possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, less than 1 gram;

Sidney Lawrence Riley Jr., possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, less than 1 gram;

Ronald Lynn Marlett, possession of a controlled substance – methamphetamine, less than 1 gram;

Jessie Lee Butler, assault family/household member impede breath/circulation;

James Matthew Edwards, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon;

Dennis Allen Manning, sexual assault of a child;

Jovita Ann Martinez, food stamps unauthorized possession greater than or equal to $200;

Carl Jonathan Morgan, assault family/household member impede breath/circulation;

Daniel Vidal-Fuentes, sexual assault of a child;

Dallas Mark Bartts, theft of property $1,500-$20,000;

Christopher Ross Andrew, evading arrest/detention with a vehicle;

John Calvin Ward, evading arrest/detention with a vehicle;

Jorge Eduardo Sanchez, driving while intoxicated third or more;

Ryan Jack Ingrahm, unauthorized use of a vehicle;

Alejandro Flores-Garcia, driving while intoxicated with child under 15;

Anne Williams Wolf, driving while intoxicated third or more;

Vincent Edward Arnoldi, driving while intoxicated third or more;

Soren Linus Anderson, theft of property $1,500-$20,000.
