Filing closed, next stop elections

The filing period for the May 11 city council and school board elections closed at 5 p.m. Friday. Below are the candidates who are running for each position. There is an (I) next to the names of the incumbents.

Just prior to the election, the Messenger will run candidate profiles for those races that are contested.
