Several poster-sized signs with U.S. President Barack Obama’s face, all marred with Hitler’s toothbrush mustache, lined the sidewalk in front of the U.S. Post Office in Decatur Friday morning.

GOING POSTAL – Craig Holtzclaw, a LaRouche PAC organizer, demonstrated Friday morning in front of the U.S. Post Office in Decatur. He was calling for Obama to be impeached and to restore the 1933 Glass-Steagall Act that once restricted affiliations between commercial banks and securities firms, but was partially repealed in 1999. A pair of demonstrators passed out literature and spoke to passersby about the dangers they believe America is facing with the continued bail out of big banks, Obamacare and defunding of social programs like Social Security and Medicare.

“They are saying people should die to keep their banks going, and that’s what Hitler did,” Craig Holtzclaw said. “This is why we have the Hitler mustaches on Obama. People are already dying because of Obamacare. People are dying because they’re cutting Social Security and Medicare to bail out crooks.”

Holtzclaw is an organizer with LaRouche PAC. The political action committee promotes the ideas of Lyndon LaRouche.

“He’s a John F. Kennedy Democrat with an alliance of patriots in both parties, and we have a bill in the Congress which we’re here to back,” Holtzclaw said, “which would cancel bailouts and protect local banks. It’s called Glass-Steagall, and it would restore what Roosevelt did in 1933.

“What we’re doing here is building a movement led by young people all over the country not to back Republican crooks against Obama crooks, but to cancel the bailouts, protect the local banks and then take the trillions from the bailouts and we’re going to build train lines, power plants and water projects, not Wal-Marts, casinos, Facebook or marijuana.”

He concluded that cuts to social programs will lead to widespread poverty and death.

“We don’t need to cut government, we need to put people back to work so we can fund government,” Holtzclaw said. “If people had fought Hitler in 1934 instead of waiting for 100 million dead bodies in front of their face before they called him evil, he would have been defeated in 1934. That’s where we are today. The people who own Obama owned Hitler. It’s the people who own Wall Street.”

He predicts a worldwide financial crisis if Obama isn’t impeached.

“When the Euro crashes and the stock market comes down 10,000 points and the food prices triple, everybody is going to want to get Obama out, but by then it might be too late and we could have violence,” Holtzclaw said. “We don’t need violence. We need to peacefully put Obama in a straightjacket, then Biden will do what we say or he’ll be impeached … That’s the only way to save the country.”

The LaRouche movement dates back to the 1960s. It advocates spending more on arts and infrastructure projects. LaRouche and several associates were convicted on fraud charges related to fundraising practices in 1988. The 91-year-old LaRouche has run for president eight times.
