Paradise city officials will get an update on perhaps three of the city’s most anticipated projects.

At its meeting Monday, the council will hear about the progress on a dollar store and the installation of a cell tower that is expected to drastically improve cell phone service in the city.

In regard to a future sewer system, the council will consider an agreement with Paradise ISD to provide the billing and collection of sewer usage fees.

They will also schedule a special meeting to further discuss the sewer system.

Council members plan to outline a fee schedule for two services – animal control and meter removal/installation. They will also consider temporary street closures for a color run fundraiser and final amendments to the 2012-2013 budget.

Routine items include reports from the economic development corporation, planning and zoning commission and the city’s administration and code enforcement departments, as well as approval of minutes and financial reports.

The meeting is 6 p.m. at City Hall.
