Council to consider budget

The 2013-2014 budget will come to a vote in Runaway Bay Tuesday.

After a public hearing, the city council will vote on the proposed financial plan at its regular meeting. The council will also consider the tax rate and amendments to utility rates.

They will also consider a memorandum of understanding with the Runaway Bay Volunteer Fire Department.

In routine business, officials will consider approving meeting minutes, COBRA coverage continuation with Texas Municipal League and agreements with Wise County for animal control and fire protection/first responder services.

The meeting, which is open to the public, starts at 7 p.m. at City Hall, 101 Runaway Bay Drive.
