Sandy Conklin’s successor will be announced at Monday’s meeting of the Northwest ISD Board of Trustees.

Conklin, who has spent the last five years at the district’s Prairie View Elementary in Rhome, will take over the reins of Samuel Beck Elementary in Trophy Club, also an NISD school.

Also during the meeting, trustees will discuss a community-based assessment and accountability system.

Gary Gindt, assistant superintendent for administrative services, will make the second staffing request for the upcoming school year, and the board will also hear a report on human resources district effectiveness from Gindt and another report on March financials.

Prior to the regular meeting at 7 p.m., the board will discuss the 2013-2014 compensation plan and an update during a budget workshop that starts at 5:30 p.m.

Both meetings are at the NISD Administration Building.
